Hand painted yarns in a variety of yarn weights and fibres. Each skein is unique, as even if made at exactly the same time, in the same pot, sprinkled with the same highlights, each skein reacts in it own way... all part of the fun. Also hand made accessories either using my hand dyed yarns or from my monster yarn stash!

I am a busy Nona, lucky enough to have ‘retired’ and now busier than ever. Dyeing yarn caught my imagination when I was hunting for some thicker sock yarn for my son and found it limited. So I dyed him some and the bug took hold.

I also love making accessories such as shawls and scarves. Only so many a girl needs though! So surplus items will be added to my store.

I’m not looking to make a fortune but any surplus I make will go on special care items for the dogs I foster for a local rescue. A cosy blanket designed for incontinent ex breeding dogs, special harnesses, the right nutrition and basic veterinary care come at a cost. The TLC they desperately need I provide for free.

So I’m hoping my obsession with colours and yarn can go a small way to helping these souls find a new least of life.
