Description

This unique peice has been hand carved out of aerated concrete, in the style of ‘Ancient Heads’. The inspiration for this peice comes from the giant Ancient Moai ( or Easter island) sculptures which are monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people on Easter Island in eastern Polynesia between the years 1250 and 1500. This peice not only offers create aesthetics as part of home/ gatden decor but also practical function in the display of potted or artificial plants. The triple candle aspect brings the character to life, accentuating the facial features in low lighting.
This peice stands a very proud 30cm tall x 21cm x 21 cm. The cavity for situating your favourite plant/ herb/ artificial plant is 12cmx9cm. (I have used artificial fern leaves for display purposes, which are not included). Although the material is quite robust by nature, like any sculpture/ ornament it should be handled with care and situated away from playful children and animals! The weight, without packaging, is just under 4Kg. The item will be shipped with high quality protective packaging to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
Shipping will be by parcel force/Royal mail, tracked, signed for and with relevant insurance.
