I know hexies are the in thing amongst paper piecers and sewing buffs, but why not give some love to other shapes! The octagon is a fun shape to work with and can be made into modern or abstract styles.
If like me you love writing and want something to jazz up your notebook then this notebook cover may be just the accessory for you. I love using the ring binder note books as I find them easier to write in due to the fact that you can bend the pages back if you don’t have much elbow room if travelling.
I don’t like to spend a fortune on a notebook, as most don’t often have the line spacing I want, so will often opt for a plain design. Due to this I thought making some fun covers would be the best option for me as I could play around with the exterior designs and interior fabrics.
These covers are made from linen fabric with a cotton fabric interior. The pockets are also made from both linen and cotton, the cover is machine sewn for extra strength. The fun design has been hand sewn and appliquéd on using a fusible web. This is fully machine washable at 40*
This cover is made to fit a standard A5 notebook spiral bound or non spiral bound.
This listing is for 1 notebook cover and A5 lined notebook
Not suitable for children under 5 due to small parts
I’ve always wanted a shop of my own, either online or out in the real world, but it seemed like a dream at first. Then I took up sewing a little over 4 years ago, mainly as a hobby to pass the time when I wasn’t working.
The first large item I made was a quilt. I made it using old jumpers and t-shirts. I’ve come a long way since then. I’m glad I started and love that there is something so that has inspired me to create something new.
I was looking for somewhere I could sell all the products I had been making and numondy got in contact after seeing me on Instagram. I had a browse through and saw people selling things they had made and created themselves and soon I realised the dream could become a reality. I love sewing! It’s relaxing and really easy to get into once you start. I’ve made things from pincushions to cushion covers, zippered pouches to mini quilts. My favourite thing to make is cushion covers, they’re fun to make and a really quick and simple project. Plus a good looking cushion can really stand out in a room and add an eye catching focal point.
I wanted to be able to share my creations with the world creating different and eye catching items. I’m no professional, but I love what I do and if I make something that you’re happy to buy and display in your home then even better.
